Hola Familia,
It sounds like your life is pretty busy again with school starting. I can't believe school has already started. It sounds like Mom has a pretty rough class. I can't believe that almost all of them are under level. It sounds like she has a lot of work to do this year. Kenzie's schedule looks really rough. AP Lit takes a lot of time. I don't think there are any study books that she needs. She will need a few classic books that she will need to read. It is a really hard class and requires a ton of time. I didn't really like it because the books we read are not my type of book. They were all really boring for me. Maybe she will like it but it requires lots of time sitting down and reading.
That stinks that you have to have surgery. At least you will be able to sit and rest for two weeks- Maybe I should dislocate my shoulder so I can get two weeks of rest. I hope everything goes well.
I already new that the USA and Peru are going to play. I am pretty excited and the trash talking started about two weeks ago. Everyone is talking trash on me and I keep telling them that we are going to win. It should be a really good game. Both teams are really well. I hope I can at least see a few parts of the game or at least the highlights.
As for the news you have all been waiting for... I was transferred. I have finally left my second area and moved to my third area. My ward is Progreso. It is in Carabayllo. It is on the edge of the mission. There are two ends of the mission and I am on one of them. I am really far away from everything. My companion is Elder Sancarranco. He is from Trujillo, Peru and has almost one year in the mission. I am the senior companion and I am not District leader.
We did have a baptism Saturday. It was a nice service but everyone showed up almost 2 hours late. I am a little nervous about the ward I am in. My area is kind of rough. My comp got in trouble the last change for disobedience and I think they put me in here to try and straighten everything out. There are hardly any investigators. We have spent a lot of time contacting trying to find new people. The people here are also a little harder. They aren't as acceptive as my old area. It is alright, I will just help the area out and I can't leave it worse then when I found it.
I hope you have a great week,
Elder Isaacson
I almost forgot. This week, we got to go see Elder Bednar. It was amazing. He talked a lot about Faith. He taught that the faith is something that makes us act. The investigators have to do things so they can show faith, AKA go to church, read the Book of Mormon, Pray, keep the commandments.
I really liked something he said. A lot of times we pray to find new investigators. But we should pray that our mouths will be filled when we speak. That means first we have to show our faith and open our mouths. I really liked that quote and it made me think a lot.
Elder Isaacson
