Hola Familia,
It sounds like you had a great first week of summer, for Kenzie anyway. Just one more week Mom. At least you get to have a summer break, I don't get any type of break. At least Dad now knows where he can find his murderer's grave site. He just doesn't have a head stone. It sounds like Kenzie will have a fun time going to Lagoon all summer long. I can't wait to hear all about your summer. Don't forget to write me all about the fun things you do and I can't wait to hear about your trip to the Dominican Republic.
My week was pretty good. Do you remember Carlos, my convert in Comas who lives in Independencia? Well, I found him at stake conference. He transferred his records to the ward in Independencia to go to church with his mom. His mom was baptized on Saturday. She was super excited. Also, Carlos got the Melchezadick (I know it is spelled wrong) Priesthood after stake conference. I was able to talk to him a little bit and he is preparing to go on a mission. It is so cool to see how my efforts will extend to even more people through the work of Carlos.
The soccer tournament was pretty fun. Our shirts are pretty cool, but they spelled my name wrong. ''Esaacson'' It is alright though. I don't care that much. It was really fun to see all my friends that I have met in the mission and catch up with them. We didn't have that good of a team and only won one game. We lost the second one to the second place team one to zero. Oh well.
The mission work keeps progressing. We met a really cool family who wants to get baptized and married this month. I am super excited to help them get married because the wedding is going to be in the center of Lima in The Parque de Las Aguas. It is a park of water and light designs. I have heard it is really cool. The family is super cool and are trying to turn their life around for their two kids. God has prepared to meet with us.
Other than that, my week was pretty normal. We did help a family put the sheet metal on their roof one night in our church clothes. We decided to help them out since it was just 3 ladies. That is about my week.
Love,
Elder Isaacson
