Feliz Navidad,

Well, it feels like I just talked to you but that is because I just did. It was so nice to see all your faces and hear your voices. I am glad to see that everything and everyone is doing well back home. It sounds like the rest of your Christmas. I had a good rest of Christmas too. We went and ate the traditional Peruvian Christmas dinner, which is a whole turkey. It was really good, even though it was served with rice. A Peruvian meal isn't a meal unless it has white rice. Afterwards we visited a few people to wish them a merry Christmas. Then my comp went and called the rest of the night. I sat and talked with the family that we were with in the other room. It was a great Christmas. I am glad that next Christmas I will be home but it is also sad that I won't be able to enjoy another Christmas here with these great people.

It sounds like the Maughan Christmas party was really fun. I enjoyed all of the photos of my cardboard cut out. It looks like I was pretty busy there giving talks, playing the piano, and just hanging out. I also love the story about Uncle Brent's tooth falling out. I loved so hard. It is kind of sad but at least it made me smile. Also Kyle is still the same even though he got married.

While Mom may have had one of her best lessons yesterday, I had my worse lesson yesterday. We are teaching a couple less actives. They are an elderly couple and her husband cheated on her. They were working through everything and were back together. Well, yesterday we were teaching them and they started to fight and yell at each other right in front of us. They were accusing each other of their faults. It was really, really awkward and uncomfortable. We didn't know what to say because we have never been in a situation like that before. We are thinking we might just quit visiting them and let the bishop deal with the problem.

We ended up getting three investigators to church yesterday. Nancy, Lilian, and Victoria all came to church. Nancy had one of her interviews and it looks like she will be getting baptized on Saturday. Lilian was up late with a visit but still woke up early to come to church. She is really showing her dedication but just doesn't quite feel ready yet. We are going to work with her on that this week. Hopefully she will have a baptismal date by my next letter.

Transfers are today but I won't find out if I am going until later in the day. I will let you know what happened next week.

Love and miss you,
Elder Isaacson
