July 13, 2015

Hola Familia,

Well, this week sounds a little bit like yours. Nothing too exciting happened and it was just a normal week. We worked really hard like normal this week. Every night, I come home and fall right into my bed after we plan. The mission is the only place in the world that can make 18-21 year olds want to go to bed before their bedtime.

Transfers are today. We are going to go see who gets transferred right after we get off of our emails. I really don't think I will get changed because I am right in the middle of training a new missionary. But, you never know. The mission president is always full of suprises. You will just have to wait until next week to find out if I stayed or went.

I am a little sad this week because I think I have to stop teaching the family that got married. They were progressing so well, but now they just don't want to come to church. Miguel is really cool and wants to get baptized so we might keep working with him, but his wife holds him back from progressing. We have been working with them for a long time now and I don't know if they will ever get baptized. The good thing we have got from visiting them is that we got to know Juana's neice, Rosalinda. She is coming to church and has a date to be baptized July 25th. When we first met her, she was going to another church and I thought she would never get baptized. Now she is reading the Book of Mormon and tells us everytime that we visit her that she knows it is true. Maybe she is the reason we got to know this family. It still hurts a lot to let a family go that you have gotten super close to.

We worked really hard this week and found 10 new investigators. I am sure that at least one or two of those investigators will progress. I feel really pressured in my area though because the AP was in my area almost a year ago. He is always on my case saying that I have to be better than I am. Hopefully he will help me be a better missionary.

Have a fun Isaacson campout and don't be so trunky Mom. ''You'll be home for the next Isaacson campout.'' I think you are more trunky than me. That is still at least one year away.

Love,
Elder Isaacson
