Hola Familia,
It sounds like it is crazy in the house right now. I remember that I told Kyle that he could get married without me being there and that I would actually prefer it so I wouldn't have to be there for the wedding preperations. I can't believe it is almost May and time for the wedding. Time just flies here in the mission. It sounds like the shower for Megan went well. That would be cool if Kyle could get an internship for the summer. He should try and do that.
Congratulations to Tyler on getting his mission call. Nebraska sounds super cool. He will enjoy it. When does he leave? I know that the Lord calls all of us where we are needed and for some reason we all go where we are needed.
The auction in the church sounds like a fun fundraiser. And if it matters, I rode in the back of the truck quite a bit and I never fell out.
It sounds like you did find my church on Google Earth. To find my area you will have to go farther up the hill. Above the church is the other area that is in my ward. My area, is farther into the hill, and farther from the church. I wouldn't say the buildings are falling a part. They may look like it but that is just the cement/mud that they put on the outside of their bricks. They don't know how to lay bricks because it always comes out really ugly.
I was able to send a USB home with a copy of all my photos. I almost couldn't do it. But the family below copied all my photos and sent the USB off while I was in the center of Lima finishing the papers for the Portocarrero's wedding. I don't have her information but she has my email, your email, the house phone, and mom's cell phone number. All my photos should be there and you will be able to enjoy them.
We had a great week for having investigators in church. There were six investigators there. The Crisostomo family was able to come down to church and they really enjoyed it. We are going to set a baptisimal date with them tonight. We now have two more baptismal dates, Maira and Yosety. We were teaching their whole family but there parents don't want to get married. Their daughters come to church every week though and their dad finally gave in and signed the permission slip to be baptized.
The wedding is supposed to be this Friday, if they actually get married. Jimy called us last night at 11:30 and said that they weren't going to get married. We went over there this morning at 8 and talked with them. They had gotten in a fight and Jimy didn't want to get married. We were able to talk to them and the marriage is back on. Satan tries so hard to keep people from obeying God's commandments. We are going to try and visit them everyday so Satan doesn't have an opportunity to tell them no.
With lots of love,
Elder Karter Isaacson
